ガラス作家として、辻和美が中国茶と出会ったのはおよそ10年前のこと。台北の展覧会のために中国茶器を制作したのがきかっけでした。それからだんだん中国茶の奥深さや美味しさに導かれて、ガラスの茶道具をつくるようになりました。
この本は、そんな辻和美がお茶の故郷でもある雲南の茶畑を訪ねたり、茶人や道具の作家を取材したり、中国茶と生活工芸の密かな交流をまとめた一冊になっています。中国茶が好きな方、ガラス作品や生活工芸に関心がある方など、いろいろな方に楽しんでいただける内容になっています

Kazumi Tsuji's “My Chinese Tea” will be released as a new BONBOOK book, which will be available at MUJI BOOKS nationwide in early June, and factory zoomer/life will start selling it in-store and online from May 15.
As a glass artist, Kazumi Tsuji first encountered Chinese tea about 10 years ago. It all started when she made Chinese tea utensils for an exhibition in Taipei. Gradually, the depth and taste of Chinese tea led her to make glass tea utensils.
In this book, Kazumi Tsuji visits tea plantations in Yunnan, the hometown of tea, interviews tea masters and tea utensil makers, and compiles the secret exchange between Chinese tea and daily life crafts in one volume. It is a book that can be enjoyed by all kinds of people, including those who love Chinese tea and those who are interested in glass works and daily life crafts!
